From 18 June to 20 August 2026, the National Art Museum of Moldova hosted the educational summer programme “Summer School at the Museum”, dedicated to children aged 7 to 12.
The programme offered children a summer filled with creativity, discovery and inspiration through educational and interactive activities held within the museum, surrounded by masterpieces from the permanent exhibitions.
Throughout the programme, the children discovered how a museum works, learned about art and modern museum technologies, explored the field of art restoration, and discovered various creative techniques through practical workshops.
The activities encouraged free expression, creativity and the development of an aesthetic sense, while also contributing to the development of attention, practical skills and fine motor skills.
Through the “Summer School”, the National Art Museum of Moldova created a space where art, education and experimentation came together, offering children a memorable and inspiring learning experience.
