Events and Interactive Activities
The official visit of the French delegation led by H.E. Jean-Luc MARTINEZ, Ambassador for International Cooperation in the field of Heritage, together with Benoît de SAINT CHAMAS, Special Advisor, took place on April 28, 2025.
New opportunities for collaboration to protect and promote cultural heritage were discussed on the agenda, including:
Restoration of historical monuments and development of joint projects;
Training programs for conservation and restoration specialists;
Financing of architectural heritage rehabilitation projects;
Digitization of museum collections and historical archives.
The delegation has already visited the urban villa "Herta and Kligman", the Church of the Assumption of the Mother of God in Causeni and the National Art Museum of Moldova, and will explore other institutions of cultural importance.
This visit strengthens the Moldovan-French partnership and opens new perspectives for the protection of cultural heritage.
